Big update to the schedule

So... we are a bit further along and you haven't heard anything for a bit. I thought it was time for an update. After some experimenting with mocap, talking with music people, and a meeting with Nathan Letwory at a nice coffee place... It looks like we'll have to wait for Blender 2.5. Let me explain why...

Basicly the reason behind it is that I want the project to be truly online and truly open. You should be able to download some files and work in them almost as if a bunch of people are working on the same scene at the same time in real-time. This means we need way deeper access to blender's internal workings from python for instance. That should be easier in 2.5.

Another reason is a personal one. I told the people I'm working for that I'm going to quit soonish. Right now apparently that means that I have a ton of freelance jobs lined up and hardly any time for anything else. I also need to spend some more time working on project london.

Script progress

Another area that has progressed is the script. After lots of great suggestions from our friends at blenderartists.org I decided we're going the escape-pod way. So think... a few escape pods on a platform in an open area, and way too many bots are trying to get in them. Thanks Moley for inspiring that train of thought. Moley is also receiving a prototyped petunia! The original broke when it fell off my telly... O NO! So I ordered a new one for him.

That's all for now... I'll keep working on this, but don't think anything really exciting will happen before 2009.
